Global Engagement

My academic work has been deeply informed by my extensive international experience, which includes several academic exchanges, research collaborations, integrating impactful international learning experiences into my courses, and teaching English in Germany, France, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. International Research Collaborations

As a member of the international and interdisciplinary Cyborg Workers organizing team, I am contributing to the development of academic, public-facing research collaborations that address themes related to the future of labor in conjunction with AI, automation and the gig economy. In February 2025, we organized the Cyborg Workers 2.0 conference entitled "The Past, Present and Future of Automated Labour: The Social and Environmental Costs of Big Tech," which was hosted by the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) in Brussels.

We are now collaborating to share key insights from the conference in an edited volume, to be published by ETUI, and we are in the early stages of organizing the Cyborg Workers 3.0 conference.
